Not sure what to say?

"Flip".......A natural born Musician/Outstanding Gentleman. Leroy enrolled in band at Roosevelt and said he wanted to play the flute. I was amazed at his ability to grasp the fundamentals of playing the flute so quickly. Within a few days, he was playing like a pro. He became an important participant in our Jazz and Marching Bands. We remained friends over the years and he would call and ask how i was doing. You will be sorely missed by your friends and all of us in the Dayton Music...

What a surprise! Leroy and I worked together at Fairview Middle School. He was the Band teacher, and I was the chorus teacher. We put together several music programs. I always enjoyed working with him.

Leroy (Flip) was my husband´s cousin.,We always had very nice times during our visits with him. Praying for Craig, Penny and the rest of the family.

My big brother - going to miss you - your invaluable knowledge and the way you always made me feel - like i was important! Time flies and I certainly wish I had more days with you! Seems like we were just getting reacquainted, but I will see you again. Rest in peace big brother!

Dear Uncle Flip So sorry we didn´t get to see a play in NYC together. I will miss you forever!

Sending love to you my dear cousin. Enjoy some amazing music in heaven with my dad.

My condolences to Leroy's family. He was a good friend, I last spoke to him maybe about 2 months ago. May he rest in peace! A great Dayton talent!

Peaceful Reflections

I met "Flip" in my Freshman year at K.S.U.. We shared a love of music and later pledged ourselves to the Goals and Objectives of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., in the Fall of `73. "Flip" has always been an outstanding Individual, Brother and Friend. Rest in the Brightness of God´s Kingdom my Good Brother. Until we meet again upon the Golden Shore.
