IN THE LATE 1950'S I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH LEROY ON FOOT PATROL IN TH FIRST PCT. I WAS A RECRUIT AND HE WAS THE SENIOR MAN AFFORDING ME ON THE JOB TRAINING. LEROY WAS A QUIET PERSON AND ONLY SPOKE REGARDING OFFICIAL AND MUTUAL INTERESTS, ALTHOUGH VERY CORDIAL AND A GENTLEMAN AT ALL TIMES. GOD BLESS AND TREAT LEROY WELL. SEMPER FI, IS HOW HE ALWAYS GREETED ME, SEMPER FI LEROY,
