The enormous impact Mr. Leroy "Little" Lewis left on this planet will ripple across generations. A man of high integrity, character, and culture. I owe much of my ability to adapt, assist, and emphasize with others from the precious experiences Mr. Lewis shared with me. My sincerest condolences to your family. Mr. Lewis was not only my high school teacher he was my mentor, friend and so much more to me and others. Mr. Lewis had the best sense of humor and was the best mentor any student could ever asked for. I pray he's resting in peace.

Mr. Lewis, was pivotal in the development of a lot of successful adults through his love, support, and mentorship he provided to many College of Charleston Upward Bound alumni. We were students seeking to better ourselves and he showed us the better of what life had to offer us. He taught us manners, to enjoy life, and most of all to believe in ourselves.
