Not sure what to say?

Shared my entire Wheaton College tenure plus another 25 yrs with a Father, brother, colleague, advisor, encourager, supporter, passenger figure with a Man of God. How privileged I and Patty are to have encountered Lee and Mibs and Randy,Kerry and John. Gary Taylor Gar

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Leroy Pfund. I had the pleasure of meeting Leroy in Decatur, Il. The same Decatur where he played with the Decatur Commodores. I have posted a picture of Leroy in my office, to show how proud I am to have met and shook hands with Mr. Leroy Pfund.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Your dad was a wonderful Christian and gentleman. An example and role model for thousands of Wheaton students. God Bless

My heart felt condolences to each of you in Lee's family. Lee's life and kindly words got me motivated to be an authentic Christian student athlete at Wheaton and served me well as a great model for my life. May the Lord grant you His peace.

While Lee was my mom's cousin, I thought of him like an uncle. Lee was a man of integrity, strength, compassion and great faith in his Lord. I have such fond memories of him since I met him in my early twenties, and his life has had a great impact on me.
My prayers and thoughts are with the family. Lee will be greatly missed this side of heaven!

You have my condolences. I always looked up to you father. He will always be the heart of Wheaton basketball. He will be missed, but his influence will live on for many years.

You have our heartfelt condolences. Your father excelled in all aspects of life: a husband, a father, a coach, a christian and a friend. He will be missed.

Condolences to the entire family for the loss of a great man. Coach was a role model in every respect to many of us who grew up in Wheaton. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My sympathies are with the family for a man who had a wonderful life. I along with many Wheaton graduates were greatly touched by this man. As a four year baseball player under Gary Taylor, Coach Pfund was always there to give me encouragement and a little instruction. What a nice man he was. Now with our Lord!
