Lee was a friendly colleague at SDSU and certainly enjoyed for his active participation in the SDSU Retirement Association's Annual Oktoberfest where he displayed skill at Bocce Ball and especially, at winning of the Beer Stein Holding Contest. His absence was noted this year.

Lee will be truly missed by all at the Colorado Cactus & Succulent Society. He came to Denver to judge our plants at our Show & Sale the past 12-14 years and built a very unique bond with all of us. He was such a positive person about life, and so generous with his knowledge and love of cactus & succulents. We will cherish the time we had with him.

Lee has been one our closest friends for many years. We will not attend an organ concert at Balboa Park or visit a garden without looking for him and missing him. The beauty of Butterflies and trips to D. Z. Akins are also memories we will cherish.
