Not sure what to say?

Dear Henrietta and Family,
I first met Van in Kingston in 1978, when he was promoted to Westchester, and I took his job as Mgr. of Security for the Kingston location. I was blessed to have known Van, what good friends we became--golf all over Ireland, the Carolinas, the Cape. Van was one of the finest people I have ever known, never a bad word about anyone. Golf all season long, with Bill Thiel and John Boyle. He was also one of the smartest people I have ever known, proficient in all...

Henrietta and family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

Henrietta, Carol and I were saddened to hear of Van's passing. As a new hire to IBM I will always remember why IBM is such a great company - people like Van to show you around and be there for you in time of need - Van never had an agenda. In life he was a man for all seasons. He will always be a true mensch and someone I will remember fondly.

Please know we will pray for you and family to get though this devastating time.

Dear Henrietta & family,

I am saddened to hear of Van's death. We met and worked together at IBM when Van became a Security Manager and we became friends. He was an absolute pleasure to be around, always exhibiting an upbeat personality.

I will pray to the good Lord, asking Him to bring Van into heaven with Him and, perhaps, play some golf with him too.

Dear Henrietta and family:

Van was a very wonderful person to share time with. His amazing personality was a joy to behold. He was filled with energy never letting health issues get in his way of enjoying a full life of activities. Tennis, golf, cooking, and community service through church activities were part of his every day living. We are saddened at his loss and send our sincere sympathy to all of the family. We will miss him.
Love,

Richard and Marilyn
