LeRoy Frank Schmidt Sr.

LeRoy Frank, Sr., born July 7, 1922 in Chicago, IL passed away November 10, 2002 at his residence. LeRoy was a WWII Army veteran, belonged to the American Legion post 12 in Oklahoma City and loved to bowl. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Schmidt; brothers, William and Erwin Schmidt and sister, Virginia Novak. He is survived by his son, LeRoy Schmidt, Jr and wife Mary Ellen Schmidt; brother, Frank R. Schmidt; grandchildren, Michael Roy Schmidt, Mathew Edward Schmidt, Leanne Kathleen Schmidt, Patricia Lynn Schmidt; and great-grandchildren, Ashley Marie Schmidt, Haley Michelle Schmidt, Taylor Cheyenne Dougan, and Eric Anthony Schmidt. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. A prayer service will be held 7:00 PM, Tuesday in Vondel L. Smith's North Colonial Chapel, 13125 N. MacArthur, OKC. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday at the Church of the Epiphany of the Lord, 7336 W. Britton Rd. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. VONDEL L.
