Leroy Clifton Sutherland

I just learned of Leroy's passing, and remember him fondly as one of my best brother friends while at Triangle Fraternity in 1960-62. Comments from the others in this message string certainly match my remembrance of him, and I am left with an empty feeling for him.

Leroy was one of our most cheerful and likeable fraternity brothers at Triangle. His presence always brightened up the room. I'm sad he is now departed from us, and especially for his family.

I am so very saddened to hear the news. Leroy and Cynthia were college buddies. I was maid of honor at their wedding. Cynthia left us too soon, and now Leroy. He had a smile that lit up the room. My deepest condolences to all those that loved him. He will be missed.

Leroy and I go back to 1960 with our shared misery of pledge life in Triangle fraternity at UCLA. We experienced good times and not such good times, and I'll miss him.
