Not sure what to say?

Edwynna and family, Patsy and I have just read the beautiful obituary and are so thannkful that you have made it available to those of us who could not be in San Antonio. Those of us who were privileged to enjoy a deep and abiding relationship with Leroy and Edwynna, can only say Amen to what was stated so well. He was exceptionally gifted, with gifts made more perfect by his lifelong companion Edwynna and entire family. We cherish those memories and that relationship with him/them and...

Ms. Yarbrough and family,
You do not know me, but I am a member of the choir at FBC. Stephen Carrell, our music minister, advised me yesterday of Dr. Yarbrough's going home to be with the Lord. I just wanted to let you know of my continuing prayers for you. Dr. Yarbrough touched my life with laughter and his passion for God's music during his interim ministry at FBC not many years ago. I will always be grateful to God for allowing our paths to cross and for the blessing provided to me...

Dear Edie and girls,
Along with many others I was in the youth choir at Trinity for several years. Leroy was a great inspiration to me in all walks of my life and I will always remember him. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

My wife, Linda and I were members of Trinity...and I was in the adult choir...1966-68. Leroy was a wonderful person, loving Christian, and extremely talented servant of the Lord. We look forward to joining him in Heaven.

What a legacy of integrity, love, humor and discipline Leroy leaves. Not to mention his incredible talent. He put the joy of music in the hearts of many. I was in the youth choir at Trinity back in the late 60's, early 70's along with my sister and 3 brothers. All the Burton's learned under Leroy and were blessed because of it. God is and will continue to use Leroy through all the seeds he planted.

Dear Edwyna, Leroy was such a positive influence on me and my family, especially Theresa. My prayers are with you all.

Edie, and children, so sorry to hear of Leroy's death. In our younger days all the Dukeville boys always "looked up" to Leroy because he was such a good Christian young man. I'll always remember the "good ole' days" at Calvary Baptist Church in Rome, Georgia! We had some wonderful times, didn't we? Your family will be in our prayers. Mitchell Wright

Randy and I sang in Leroy's youth choir at Trinity where my mom was also on staff. I babysat your little girls. I'm so grateful to have been a part of his life and yours.
