Dear David, I just read of leslee's passing. I am saddened by the news. It was such an honor to have known her. Her dedication to SLI was an inspiration to me. Her smile, a ray of sunshine on those cold winter mornings. She was always kind and considerate. We are all richer for having known her. Sending a hug to you.

Without Leslee's help, we would not have been able to install the
'Blue Star Memorial' at the library. She was so great to work with and always had a smile. I will miss her energy.

Leslee provided the darndest blend of skills. In SLI, we spoke in a shorthand of colors and on her lapel tag, she displayed GOLD as first of four characters, her strongest. Gold for the dutiful, blue for people-people, green for thinkers and orange for those who liked a little color along with it.
Yes, Leslee was GOLD, producing more great outcomes than any norm. But she was then so BLUE that anyone who crossed her path was touched and honored with her good intent. In the realm of...
