Not sure what to say?

So sorry to read that news, have been trying to get in touch with Les for many years, Les was with his friend Roger Willians on a trip to Copenhagen, Denmark. Roger and I have been married 66 years. May Les Rest in Peacr.

Les was always a pleasure to spend time with and a role model for us Chester and Los Verdes golfers. He will be deeply missed and always honored as we walk the fairways. My condolences to the family on a difficult loss. RIP my friend, Gino Aveni

Condolences to the Chapin Family. Les was one of my favorite neighbors. He even deliver our welcome basket, when moved to the neighborhood. Les was always working on his garden. My kids and I, often said hi as we passed him on our walks to the park. We will miss you Les.

Alice, I was so saddened when I heard of Les' passing. Bette Mateik informed me. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and family. It will be difficult for you in the beginning but time will heal. I know. Just remember the wonderful times you had together and you will be better. Much love to you. Bettie and Harry (RIP) Hedlund

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Les was my first contact in the Heat Transfer Laboratory around 1963 and was always there for you. We bonded as Lab partners as I led the Lab Engineering In support of his lab and numerous other labs. Most knew Les as a responsible Engineer and always ready to support the cause. He also made and sold wooden models that required numerous hours to build but were perfect. He will be missed and always remembered. Chuck Truitt

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Though I did not have the pleasure of meeting Les in person, I had the blessing of short but positive and memorable telecoms with him prior to our December luncheon. Les was very helpful and pleasant when we spoke. I was saddened when I heard he had an accident just before the luncheon and I am very sad this event resulted with his passing. Please accept my sincere and deepest condolences and sympathy. God bless. Jose

Dear Alice and Family . . . It was wonderful seeing you both at the Cliff Garrett Retirement Club luncheons all these years, and Les sure made our Board meetings fun, especially when we met at your home - puppies and all! He saved the day volunteering again to be our club Treasurer. He was one of the nicest people I ever met. I will miss his hugs and think of him and that great smile often. Sending love, Carolyn Weyant
