Leslie A. DeSantiago, 66, died Saturday, May 18, 2019, in his home, after a long period of declining health.
He leaves five sons: Moses DeSantiago of Southbridge, Joel DeSantiago of Worcester, Joshua DeSantiago of Philadelphia, PA, Elioenai DeSantiago of Orlando, FL, and Jorge Perez, Jr., of Worcester; his mother, Angelina (Rodriguez) Joyce, of Clinton; 12 grandchildren: Ariella, Jonathan, Naomi Everly, Anaís Sophia, Gianna, Javian, Joel, Hadassah, Jeshiah, Trinity, Jedidiah, and Genesis; siblings here, New Hampshire, Florida and Puerto Rico. He was predeceased by his former wife and mother of his children, Beverly A. Medina.
Leslie was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, son of the late Juan DeSantiago Mas, and was raised in Puerto Rico, until moving to Clinton as a teenager. He attended local schools, and worked at Weetabix, Clinton, for many years, retiring due to illness.
A man of great faith, Leslie was a member of the former Church Rock of Salvation, Clinton. He was a talented musician who played guitar, song writer, composer of music and writer of poetry.
A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced. McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton, is directing arrangements. To share a memory of Leslie, or offer condolences to his family, please sing the Guest Book.

My sweet talented nephew, how strong you were and how courageous of a fight you fought. You are an example to many. I know you are in a better place and now you can continue doing what you loved, play your guitar. You will be missed by those that truly loved you. Rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord.
