Not sure what to say?

Les was a wonderful person and leader and, most important to me, a role model for how a Southern white person could actively be engaged in and support causes of justice and equity.

Dr. Dunbar was truly a kind soul and one of my favorite clients at Lambeth House. I will tremendously miss seeing him on my monthly visits there. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Melody Benedic Walsh, Audiologist, New Orleans Speech & Hearing Center

Dr.Dunbar was a wonderful teacher at Emory and opened to me the world of political theory and political activism. He lived a meaningful and courageous life of devotion to racial equality and social justice. He will be greatly missed.

And Tanya, whoever you are, I love you.

It's hard to imagine the world without Leslie. The last time I heard from him was after the election when he sent out a message to encourage his friends to keep the faith. He had a big impact on my life and career and I miss him.

Oh, Les, how much I loved you and how much I respected, admired and loved your political views, as well! May you rest, now, and watch over all of us with that discerning and full heart. I loved that twinkle in your eye and EVERYTHING about your character . . . And was truly blessed to have met you. Rest, now, my friend . . . .
Love, Tanya
