I have worked downtown for 25 years. No matter who spoke to Mr. Gaines he always had a bright warm smile on his face and spoke, gave hugs, waved and shook hands to all that said hello to him. He was always dressed as sharp as a tack and was well known for that too. He was a positive role model in his field that helped to pave the way for others. R.I.P Mr. Isiah Gaines and may God continue to be with your family in their time of need. Prayers sent to your family and friends.

As the first person Leslie met upon arriving in Cincinnati and the Legal Aid Society and as a friend, colleague, and admirer of his stature and booming voice I am saddened that the community will no longer have his presence.
