Not sure what to say?

I remember great stories about Les, he was a funny guy. I haven't seen him in years, but he will surely be missed by all. My heart goes out to all of his family.

My Grandfather was a great man, very caring,loving and would do anything for anybody, even if he did not know you. I already miss him treamendously. He loved our family with all of his heart and I know that shows. He did anything to make us happy, He never was selfish, he was always giving and i will never forget that. He was like a second father to me and I am heart broken that he is gone. I wish he was still with us, telling us his jokes and making us laugh,but God took him for a reason and...

I miss my Grandpa Les. When ever i went over to his house after school, he would help me with my homework. He always told me his jokes every time i came over to see him. I will miss him dearly.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Kate and Family,,, my deepest and heartfelt thoughts are with you. Les never ceased to amaze me with his "one liners" He was a wondeful man and will be missed.

to the entire Holden family,Nancy and Ann I have very fond memories of your Dad I could go on and on,he was a wonderful man you are all blessed to have him in your lives sincerely Christine Spivey{Albern}

All the best to Kate and the family. Les was a good man. I remember walking up to the store once with a nickel for some penny candy. When i had made my choice and went to the counter to pay, I discovered that the nickel had fallen thru a hole in my pocket. I was about to put the candy back when Les said "that's ok buddy, we'll square up next time, just don't tell Kate". That was the Les Holden that I remember.
