Born in San Antonio, Les established and was president of the public accounting firm, Klemcke, Inc. in 1976. He was also a scuba diving instructor, cattle rancher and pilot. He was an outdoorsman and athlete who enjoyed running half marathons, deep sea diving, hunting, skiing, riding horses and backpacking. He is survived by his wife, Regina Klemcke and children Liesel Klemcke and boyfriend, Frans Kempe of Stockholm, Sweden, Heather Klemcke Aydelott and husband, Tim of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Erin Carley Lunsford and husband, Jeff of San Antonio, Texas, and grandchildren, Ava and April Aydelott and Riley and Carley Lunsford. He is also survived by his sister, Regina Hohman and husband Dennis of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is also survived by former spouse and mother of his children, Carol Bochetti, numerous nieces and nephews and his dog, Lady, aka Bowser.

He is predeceased by parents, Leslie Simon Klemcke, Sr. of Somerset, Texas and Madeline Claire Debold Klemcke of Salina, Kansas.

Viewing will be between 5 and 9 pm, with recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7 pm, Sunday, June 7, at the Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 North Main Street, San Antonio, Texas. My Mom and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to your family. Leslie attended church at the San Juan Mission with us. Enjoyed talking to him every time. It was a pleasure to have him a part of our community. He always asked about the health of my elderly Mom. He was a very nice man. So sorry for your loss! Sincerely, the Zamora Family

Uncle Les was the best! He taught me how to fix cars and just about anything around the house, flew me around on his plane, showed me the way around a ranch, and took us on adventures all over the country. He was a good, generous man and will be dearly missed. I only wish I visited Les and family more in the last few years.

My deepest condolences to the Klemcke family.

Les believed in me, in what I have been trying to do, and supported me - emotionally, with advice, and, of course, accounting. His loss has left a hole in my life. I'm certain it is so much more devastating for you. I am very, very sorry he is gone and for the pain you must be feeling.
