Les Merrill was my uncle. I have many fond memories of him from my childhood. He was a talented artisan, an avid golfer and always ready to greet us with a hug and a smile. I will always remember him with his massive glass of iced tea and at Christmas time being in awe of the enormous amount of lights he pain-stakingly placed on every branch of his children's tree.
