Mr. Myers was a wonderful, inspirational and effective teacher for this 7th Grader at Shawnee, 57 years ago. He used his dry wit and laid back style to both teach, and maintain order in the classroom. I can still picture him driving his beloved VW mini-bus down Shawnee Rd. on his way to school.
