Leslie was a true gentleman. I did Jeanette's hair for many years and I fell in love with both of them. After Jeanette died, Les would still stop in to see me when he was up at West Hill. Two kind people with a wonderful family. A perfect legacy. Rest in peace Leslie.

My condolences to David, Beverly, Janice and all the rest of the Nielsen family. This marks the end of a great generation of family that contributed so much to not only the Town of Bloomfield but the American way of life. I have nothing but great memories of my time spent at Chris Nielsen & Sons working with Les on the farm and later as a milk route driver.

I worked with Les at Oak Hill. He was a wonderful man. Oh we also played racquetball and he always played my butt off! What a competitor! Sorry for your loss.
