Not sure what to say?

Time passes; memories remain - thank Goodness! I continue to remember how encouraging and kind Leslie was. I remember how much I love this family. I remember. May God's peace that passes all understanding be with you, always!

I was a difficult and hyperactive elementary School student. I was in trouble fairly often and found myself talking with Leslie more often than most students. He was a good man. He taught me my first lesson on racism and it resonated with me ever since. I wish I had a chance to say thanks for teaching me whom I wanted to be before I was even old enough to know what that meant. I will never forget Mr. Palmer.

Mr.Palmer will be greatly missed at St. Luke's infusion center. He was such a pleasure to care for over the years. My deepest sympathies to your famile

My sympathy and prayers for the family of Les Palmer. What a truly great, kind and gentle man he was. I had the pleasure of knowing him as the principal of Edgar Road School, where both my daughters attended. He was always nurturing and caring while pushing all students to learn and grow. I remember him giving students chess lessons in the library after school. He was the type of leader who 'walked the walk' and both my daughters benefitted greatly from having him in their lives. Years later,...

Our deepest sympathy to your family during this difficult time. We love you and your family and will keep you in our prayers. Les was an inspiration and roll model to me and he always kept us laughing.

Mr. Palmer was my principal at Edgar Road Elementary and I have nothing but incredibly warm memories of him. I remember a few really warm days where it was unsafe for me to not be in air conditioning (I am a T1 diabetic, and extreme heat drops my blood sugar) and Mr. Palmer would find me and let me hang out in the library or with him in the office. He was foundational in my education experience!

To the Palmer family: I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope your memories give you...

Les Palmer was one of the brightest lights in my childhood. He had a calm, nurturing energy. I was privileged to have known him as my K-5 principal, as well as a close family friend. He was no doubt a role model to his community. He empowered me as a person and student. (Knowing the distain I had for reading, Mr. Palmer would invite me to read with him in the principals office or we would meet up in the school library where he would suggest books I might find myself enjoying.) He made...

My thoughts and prayers are with Doris and the family. I am so thankful to have worked with such an awesome person. He will be missed. Pat Pingel

Mr. Palmer was a wonderful man and principal. He was a mentor to many students and teachers over the years. Comfort to all of you.
