Pearl and Children, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband and grandfather. I just learned of Babes passing as Denny and Becky were here to spend the night with us and told me. I surely would have been there to pay my respects to you all if I had known. I'm Veronica Gervase, grandaughter of Lillian Buttles. As a child, my sister and I spent summers at my Grandparents in Fillmore. Some of my fondest memories were walking over to Rickettes Farm Supply to see my Grandma. I remember Babe loved to joke with us, often calling us "the boys". His kind, bright smile told me he was a nice man. I remember him giving us a quarter once in awhile so we could get a pop out of the machine in the shop. A jesture that had a lasting impression. So sad to hear the news. Babe was a very kind and sincere man. I have many nice memories of him as I grew up with Tom in Fillmore. My sympathy to all.
