Not sure what to say?

I met you 18 yrs ago in st Stephen´s . You were a wonderful doctor and mentor. I was struggling with my mental health and after depression diagnosis you promised to meet me at that church 1 year after that visit. Even though you had many patients you showed up and it meant so much. I´m just learning of your passing but wanted to tell your family how much you helped me!! I will never forget.

I just learned of Leslie's passing today. He was a dear friend and classmate of mine at MCV. I remember fondly his great sense of humor, classic sense of style, and kindness at the bedside. He also knew how to throw a great party! Rest well, dear pal.

Dear Becky, Winston and I were saddened to learn of Leslie`s death. He was a fine man and a caring physician. We have good memories from the days when we were young parents and would find ourselves together with children at church events or at one of the many delightful parties at Chris and Ginny Tompkins´ house. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. May God`s peace be with you. Love, Betse Trice

I got to know Dr. Rose when he started coming out to see the Va. Home for Boys residents. He was very playful and kind to all of them, and a very good diagnostician. I ended up using him as my physician for several years, and he saw 2 brothers and my elderly mother and one son at various times. One brother was special needs, and could be challenging at times, refusing to come to appointments at the last minute due to his anxiety associated with autism and MR. But Dr. Rose always treated him...

Dr. Rose was my mother's physician for almost 30 years. He was a great and personable doctor. The last two years I accompanied my mother to her appointments and appreciated his stories and dry sense of humor. He wanted to work in medicine as long as he could. Sending peace to him in his final resting place and healing to his family. He will certainly be missed.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Rose. I knew him when I worked in Assisted Living Sales and Marketing and also Care Management. I had the pleasure of meeting with he and his Staff for referrals for residents and bringing patients to his practice. He was always so kind and patients loved him! Dr. Turner is great as well and they were both always a pleasure to see! Dr. Rose will be missed by the community. Again, my sincerest sympathies to his family and friends. Janet...

Becky, So sorry to learn of the passing of my dear friend of over 40 years and my personal physician. As you know and he knew, I loved him like a brother. It is such a great loss to his many friends and patients and his family. We will all miss him greatly. May God be with you and family during this time of sorrow. Leslie was a great doctor and dear friend. May he REST IN PEACE!!! Bill Crews
