LESLIE SHABAD Obituary
Born 1927, died April 18, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Theodore Shabad, cherished mother of Steven and Peter and loving grandmother of Alex, Ben, Rebecca and Rachel. Intellectually curious with an internationalist bent, Leslie inspired her children and grandchildren with her life wisdom, humanist idealism and deep sense of ethics. Memorial service will be at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 76th Street and Amsterdam Ave., on May 1 at 1pm. Donations may be made to the World Wildlife Fund.
