My thoughts and prayers go out to the Shermans for the loss of their sweet Leslie. I was fortunate to teach her in my Advanced Placement European History class at West Springfield High School. I taught Leslie about history, but she taught me and all of us about life and the power of positive thinking. I will always remember her beautiful smile. She will be missed but never forgotten. - Mr. Magg

We are strangers yet in times such as this we are drawn together because of the common bond of all being a part of the family of God. May you always know that thousands upon thousands will be praying - today, tomorrow and the days yet to come. Leslie will not be forgotten. Those who got to know her during her short life time will have precious memories to hold on to. Those of us who have only met her through the articles we have read, will remember what a beautiful passionate young lady she was as we were told. Just know that God will hold you up when you feel like you want to fall. He will provide you the strength and courage to carry on for His Kingdom. He will never forsake you. Thank you again for sharing such a beautiful young lady with so many. God bless each of you.

To the family of Leslie... My heart pours out for your loss. I have children in college on the east coast and one on the west coast(a RA) And as a parent its hard enough to send our children out into the world, without us being there as we always think to protect them from this crazy society. Just remember God never makes mistakes. His plans for each of us are HIS plans, being long term or short term, we belong to HIM. You are going to miss her loss but its Gods gain and how incredible is that knowing being such a good person, she nows rests home with her heavenly father. Keep her in your heart and listen and take time out to listen to your heart. She'll always be around in spirit. Keep your heads up and hold on tight to God's unchanging Hands. May God continue to bless you.

Tony and the entire Sherman family, words can not express the pain and sorrow I feel for you after this tragic loss. Leslie was a special young lady. I know because Tony told me frequently, being the proud father he was of his daughters. As a friend and mentor to Tony at work at VA, he often directed our conversations to issues about his family and raising two daughters, as I had previously had such a "burden". Tony, your love was obvious. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers.

Dear Tony and family,
Through Aunt Marianne, my cousin, we feel your extreme loss. May you find comfort in her memory and the fantastic life she had already undertaken.
Your memorials to her have taken alot of thought in a trying time. I feel she would be pleased. God needed her to do his angel's work now. May she watch over you and your family from Heaven above.
