Les, was a grade behind me at Ottawa but I didn't get to know him well until his security company worked for the Grand Raggidy Roller Derby for many years. I then found out my daughter knew him from Billy's and my granddaughter who came to roller derby with me quickly became his helper at the door taking tickets and such. She's 16 now but when she was little she decorated his phone with cutesy little girly stickers and I thought he would snap, but he didn't care. Les was such a cool guy...

It was such a privilege to know and love, Leslie! He was a beautiful spirit possessed of a keen wit, searing intellect and kind heart. He was always there to support his family and it is difficult to imagine gatherings without his physical presence... going forward. We send our deepest love and support to his entire family and he will forever be cherished in our memories. Sending hugs from The Sullivans
