Bedford Funeral Home - Bedford Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother Leslie A Taylor. Leslie passed peacefully in her sleep the morning of May 29, 2024 at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA.

Leslie is survived by her daughter Jennifer Taylor (Mike Pupillo) of Worcester, MA, daughter Sarah Taylor of Arlington, MA, sister Patience Terry (Richard Terry) of Arlington, MA, step-sister Joann Cochran (Donald Cochran) of McLean, VA, nieces Elizabeth Terry of Cambridge, MA, and Catherine Terry Corbin (Kelley Corbin) of Colorado Springs, CO, granddaughter Maggie Taylor & grandson Jonah Taylor, both of Arlington MA. Cousins Kerry, Brian, and Kevin Shea.

Anyone who ever had the good fortune to meet Leslie knew immediately what a kind, generous, funny, intelligent, wise and genuine person she was. She was like a bright spring flower who spread  love, joy and happiness with all in her path. She had many friends and was always the hostess with the mostest. She worked for many years as an executive assistant, predominately at Fidelity Investments in Boston, MA where she created and maintained many friendships over the years. Leslie was very involved with the First Congregational Church in Sharon, MA and participated in many church activities; Lobster Roll Committee, Dorcas Society, Soup Kitchen and Christmas Bazaar, especially the silent auction. She loved her family & friends very much and always talked about how important community was to her. She created many family traditions filled with love and laughter. She will be missed by so many who had the honor to know her, in ALL of her signature “Leslie” hats, may she rest in peace.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Sharon, 29 N. Main St., Sharon, MA. Collation will follow in the parish hall.

For those not able to attend, the service will be streamed live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/fccsharon/

A recording of the service will also be available on request.
