Not sure what to say?

I was shocked to learn of Leslie's passing - my condolences go out to her family and friends. Our interactions were purely scientific but I admired her research accomplishments and her energy. We shared an interest in plant pathogenic Streptomyces and I had hoped that we would find an opportunity to collaborate. It is sad that she has left us at such a young age.
Rosemary Loria

I knew Leslie at Berea high school. Although I didn't know her well, I knew she was very bright and I knew she would have an impact on everyone she knew. I'm not at a surprised that she was so accomplished in her life. My sympathy to her family.
Carrie Armstrong Dietrich

My sympathies and thoughts are with her wonderful family that I knew in Berea, and everyone since then that knew her and cared about her.
I heart Leslie.

I just heard of Leslies passing today and am so sorry to hear this. We worked together in the last few years as she tried to shepherd Ken Deahls Phytophthora collection on to my lab and others after his retirement.
My condolences to her family

So sorry for your loss. Allow your hearts ample time to mend. Take comfort in knowing that God is always near to comfort those calling on his name. Psalms 145:18, 19. - Hart (MD)

Condolences to all Leslie's family from the potato plant pathology team at MSU - our field plots will be that bit emptier this year.

Leslie is a kind, warm, resilient person who always smiled through very difficult times. She is a wonderful example of optimism and patience. She will truly be missed. Sail on, dear aunty. I love you forever!
