Not sure what to say?

He was the reason I started playing guitar. He was an amazing musician, and will be greatly missed. I'll never forget how much of an inspiration he was for me.

Great musician! Saw Mountain many times at Milwaukee SummerFest.

I have always enjoyed Mountains music. I hand tooled a Leather guitar strap for him which is featured on a Dean Guitar Leslie West Model poster which he gratefully autographed for me in my home state of NH on Aug.4 2006.RIP Leslie. You will be missed

After learning about Leslie's passing, I have mourned for two days straight. I was 15 or 16 years old when I first saw him perform at San Diego Sports Arena. I'm 64 years now and remember it as if it were yesterday. He was probably one of the greatest influences to my musical experience. I have watched his old videos over and over with deep sadness and at the same time a great thanks to you, Leslie.... forever

Condolences to the family , Leslie was a pioneer and will always be remembered by his fans for his contribution to Music.

When all my friends were playing British rock, Mountain was the sound of my youth. When people were quoting Clapton and Hendrix et al, I would always throw Leslie West into the mix, and got positive response! Got to meet the great man backstage in Beverley, England a few years back and he was very gracious - a true superhero. The Road Goes Ever On!

Our deepest condolences to the family. We pray that God continues to strengthen and comfort them during this extremely difficult time.

I have been a fan from the seventies. Flowers of Evil is the only CD in my car. Side two (Dream Sequence) inspires me. I try to play it all the time on my axe. Never saw him live. Always wanted to. Even bought a base from his brother Larry on Ebay. Larry said it was one of Leslie's. I cherish it. I will miss your presents on this rock. Hope to meet you in the next life.
