Not sure what to say?

I remember Les White so well from playing tennis with him in Las Vegas, NV in the early 1980s. He was a dear friend of my Father, Mom, and I. We just loved him. He helped greatly with my tennis. I enjoyed practicing with him ! Lots of fun and good memories. We even stayed with him in Alameda and visited with and his girlfriend for a couple days. Love Cindy Lauer Pineda

I only recently heard about Les' passing and was shocked and saddened to hear it. I used to drop by the courts for Les' adult lessons frequently for many years. It's hard to imagine Alameda without him. I chewed the fat with him for hours, he was smart, funny, learned, clever, and brilliant about tennis. I miss you Les, our world is a poorer without you.

Memories are more than words can say. I loved you with my whole heart. God has his arm around you at this time.

Happy Birthday Les 2-03 05

Thanks to the tennis community for honoring Les .

I've only known you for a short time but it feels like a lifetime. Thanks so much for being such a great supporter/teacher in the Alameda tennis community. Thanks particulary for helping my daughter become a better tennis player. You inspired her so much. Both of us will miss you on the courts and miss your friendship. You'll always be in our thoughts.
