Lester Bernstein married my sister Shirley shortly after WWII. I was treated more like a son than a brother-in law.He was my idol and mentor.I worked for him in his shoe stores for many years and learned so much more than how to sell shoes. He was like a guidance councellor to me. I loved him and will really miss him.He always set a good example for me and led me down the right paths.The world would be a better place if more people were like Lester.
