Lester was a friend of my mother’s (Jackie Silon) and their mutual friend (Gloria Karlson) when he lived and worked in NYC. I so fondly remember meeting with him and his wife when I was 19 and traveled to London for the first time. I lost touch over the years and didn’t know how to find him when I was older and wanted to. Lester Bookbinder
I had the pleasure of working with Lester in London. I was a photographic model in Paris and Lester shot Campari ads for Germany with myself and Peter Keating. He also shot the advertising for tv spots and for movies with us. I am so grateful to have worked with such an amazing talent and incredible man. He was very kind and I will never forget him...a true artistic talent!

So sorry for your loss, may your memories shared together along with prayers comfort and console aching hearts at this difficult time.

My uncle, Stanley J. Beck, died just days after Mr. Bookbinder. Stanley helped Lester early in his career in New York and when I was living in London, he sent Lester a telegram asking him to help me find a job -- which he did! It was one of the best jobs I ever had. How sad both have left us. My condolences to his family.
