Lester E. Christman Jr. ALLEN TOWNSHIP Lester E. Christman, Jr., 84, of Allen Township passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. Born Sept. 9, 1932, in Northampton, he was the son of the late Lester E. and Mildred (Hauser) Christman, Sr. He was the husband of the late Sylvia E. (Kidd) Christman. Lester worked as an electrician at Mack Trucks for 33 years. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy. Lester was a member of the Bath Legion Post 470. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking. He is survived by daughter, Laura, wife of Francis Talian; sons, Guy and Brian; daughter-in-law, Melanie; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brother, Edwin and sister, Carol. Lester was predeceased by his sons, Dan and David, a brother and two sisters. Prayer Service will be held Friday, June 30 at 2 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call Friday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Schoenersville Cemetery. Online condolences may be submitted at www.reichelfuneralhome.com. lester will always be remembered by me he was one of the best ever you really had to be there . the stories and the education he gave was priceless. the time never long enough to spend together.thank you lester for being a great friend .god bless you sir and rest peacefully .

I did not know you personally, however I would very much like to "Thank You" for your dedicated and honorable Military Service to OUR country.
At a later date we will meet in that "SPECIAL PLACE" which GOD reserves for all of those who have worn their country's Military Uniform.
