Not sure what to say?

I will always remember Les and Dorothy as a huge part of my youth and later in my life. I have a prized possession--one of Les' paintings.

You and Dorothy were such a huge part of our childhood during your many visits to Moab. We looked forward to seeing you, hearing you sing and play the piano, and make us all laugh with your outrageous stories! When you and Dorothy moved to Moab, we were so thrilled to be able to see you all the time. I shall never forget you, and the love you showed to all of us. I can still hear you playing the piano in my parent's home. You are gone, but definitely never forgotten, and much loved by...

Les, Leo and I are remembering our friendship with you and Dorothy with deep fondness and heartfelt thanks that we knew you as our gracious neighbors for so many years. It is a treasured friendship that is always in our hearts. Give Dorsey a hug for us. Peace and eternal blessings are yours. You were your own man and always a great conversationalist. Les, we will miss.

Uncle Lester, you were one of America's greatest generation having fought in WWII. I will always appreciate the interest you showed in helping me become a better chess player. Pawn to King 4 ....

Uncle Les, may you rest in peace. You will always be in my heart dear God Father. You may be my Uncle and God father, but I always loved you like a second Dad. Please give my mom and coconut head a hug and kiss from me and my dad.

Rest in peace, Uncle Les. You will always be remembered as thoughtful and caring, witty, talented, a bookworm extraordinaire, young in spirit, and an American hero. We will miss you. Love from your niece and nephew-in-law...

A toast to Uncle Les, the last survivor of our family's "greatest generation". I will always remember your stories, your jolly jokes, and the pleasure you took in your paintings and music and your "thousands" of books. But most of all I will always remember your kindness and caring and thoughtful ways. I will remember you always. Love and goodbye from your niece...

What a spirit and heart Lester had! When he heard I loved Marc Chagall, he searched flea markets until he found the perfect book for me. Once, while visiting Dawn in Warrenville, he brought me downstairs to his apartment and looked for something to give me as a present (for no reason). He settled on a beautiful seascape. He did, indeed, want to promote the arts, but it was as much the generosity of his spirit. I feel very blessed to have known him. Love you, Lester! May your spirit...

What can I say, He was my brother, non finer, better at loving you, kinder than the kindest, Describe Lester, He loved the Lord and his life showed it. Miss you my and always will. Rest my brother, well done my good and faithful friend. Love you.
