Lester S. Ostrander

Les was one of the sweetest and most understanding men I have ever met. I always considered him a good friend. He will be missed.

We have lost a dear friend and one of my mentors at Sikorsky. He always had time for you regardless of how busy he may have been. He always had a kind word or thought to share. Rest in peace Lester in the eternal sunshine of the Lord.

I was extremely fortunate and blessed to share a close and loving relationship with Lester for so many years, and truly regret not having the opportunity to say farewell to my Friend (with a capital F as he would always say). The Silver Fox was one of the kindest and gentlest men I've ever known, which is why everyone loved him. We are all so sad to learn of your dad's passing. He was truly a wonderful person...so kind and gentle. He will forever remain in our hearts.

Our friend Les will always be remembered and sadly missed by all his friends. He was one of the most thoughtful and kind people we have ever known.

There will never be another great man like Les. I had the honor of working with him at Staples and he will always be remembered in my heart. My prayers and sympathy are with his family in this difficult time.
