To Lester's family: I graduated with Lester from Bangor high school. He was a classmate and dear friend. Lester honored our class when our country called, and he has been a friend all these years. The media of today kept our friendship alive with chats about the local and national news. I thank God I knew Lester and may he rest in heavenly peace, in Jesus' name.
