The Michael Grants were out of town and did not know of Lester's passing. I have known him since at least the early 1970's and while at Mid-North I worked with him at least weekly. He was always a mentor to me.
I often said to my peers that if I had a complex mortgage closing and could select lender's counsel and the deal was critical it would be Lester above anyone else in the legal community. I also always admired his service during the Korean Conflict. He was a Navy man t the end....
