Lester Junior Self

Mr. Lester Junior Self, 61 of 105 Valleydale Drive, Casar, died Monday, June 7, 2004 at his home.

Born January 12, 1943 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Lester William Self and Daisy Pomeroy Self. He was employed by Brackett Roofing Company.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his step-mother, Gladys Self; a son, Jason Carroll Junior Self; three brothers, John, Hubert and Foy Self and three sisters, Ruby Self, Monette Self and Pauline Goode.

He is survived by his brothers, Jim Self of Ellenboro and Jimmy Wright of Jefferson, GA; two sisters, Elizabeth Padgett of Lawndale and Betty Whitlock of Jefferson, GA; special nephew, Stephen Self and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2004 at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Price officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one before the service at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
