To Mr. Lester & Sammy Sims I know that you have lost a son & a nephew & you are still going through a hard time with that but God has a plan & I know whatever it is it's going to be great...

R.I.P. Lil Lester (LOL inside joke)
Carver High School Class of 2005

First off, I like to say God bless the Sims family. Earl was very close friend of mine and a co-worker. I have nothing but memories of Earl since high school, from playing against each other on the field or just hanging out after work in the recent summers...its hard. R.I.P man..

May God bless the family of my homeboy Big Earl. I will see you on the other side of life Earl Jr.

I just want to send my prayers out to the Sims family. We all lose people in our life that mean so much to us, but GOD always has something in heaven better for the people who he takes from us. It seems like yesterday when me and Earl were just outside in front of the Sims house playing basketball and joking around. I will continue to pray for you all that this will strengthen the love you all share within the family. Earl will forever be missed in my mind, body, and soul his image and smile...

To the members of the Family, we send our deep sympathy, and tears and thoughts in these trying times of Grief, to lose a Beloved Son,cousin, brother, grandchild touches the soul of us all.Our thought go out to Lester and the whole Sims Family. From James Earl (Bally). J.B.Sims son and Family.May God bless all of you. A loving Cousin

Seems like yesterday Earl and I were still partners at the YMCA. Mr and Mrs Sims, I do not know you personally, but I worked very closely with your son for two straight years and can say he is one of the finest people I have ever known and worked with. You should be very proud because that job meant everything to him and being with those kids lit up his heart in ways that the rest of us took for granted. We will always remember Earl for that and I hope that things are okay, because for him...

I remember being at Carver and being a freshman..and Earl stood out so much, and It didnt even seem like it was his first year. He knew everyone and the people who didnt know him were soon to speak his name. I remember being in Civics class which his father taught (Coach Sims), I had so much fun while learning..I remember us janking and sharing jokes..Hes one of the most respectful guys I met while the time I was at Carver. He will be missed always..

My sympathy goes out to Coach Sims...

To the Sims Family,
