Mr. Trilla was a wonderful and fun neighbor when he lived across the street from me and my family in Beverly. My sympathies to his wife and children.

Deeply saddened to learn of Lester´s passing. He was a man among men. I had the honor & privilege of getting to know him at the Chicago Athletic Association where he provided leadership in a valiant effort to try to save that esteemed institution. Our dinners were always memorable as he was such a great gentleman and role model. It may be a cliche, but it couldn´t be more true in his case: "They don´t make men like him anymore!" May he rest in the peace he so richly deserves.
