Bruce, I was very sorry to read of the passing of your dad. I remember him as a great guy who always supported community activities, especially Wilson Midger Football. He was also a good friend of my father's. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Dad,I'm glad I got to look into your eyes one last time before you passed. I'll never forget how amazed you were that I traveled,"all the way from California" to see you. Although I've tried to convey how much I love and admire you over the years Dad, I guess there are really never enough of the right words or number of hugs to ever achieve that. I know you felt them just as I know you loved me. I will always love you and hold you close to my heart and mind. I miss you.

Mr. Walters. From all the kids on Forest St. you will truly be missed. You were the grandfather we never had. Thanks for all the baseball games, movies, and the times you let us hang on the front porch discussing the old days. Thanks for being so influential in the lives of so many of us that grew up around you. We love you and we will see you on the front porch in years to come. But don't worry we will not mess with the bushes!!

Bruce,
Please accept my deepest sympathies on your Father's passing. I still fondly recall the visits to Henry's Woods in which he'd include as many of us neighborhood children as would fit in his station wagon. Those trips were my earliest exposure to the woods and nature and his generosity in taking the time to share that with us will never be forgotten.
