Leta Southerland

SOUTHERLAND, Leta Richardson, 89, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry "Uncle Henry" Southerland; three sisters, Mary Drudge, Anne Totty and Shirley Rush; and a brother, Dallas "Jack" Richardson; and is survived by two brothers, Monroe S. Richardson (Pat) and Leroy P. Richardson (Jo); and numerous nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Branch's Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Rd., Suite 130, Glen Allen, Va. 23060, or Branch's Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, 3400 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, Va. 23234.
