Not sure what to say?

Lettie was a very special person who made a difference wherever she went. I first met her in 1984 at NASA Headquarters. Over the years, I spent time with her and saw how many people she helped with her kindness and understanding. She made friends wherever she went and always remembered birthdays and anniversaries with beautiful cards she selected one by one with that special person in mind. We were so lucky to know Lettie. She made people feel cared for and understood and she knew how to...

I knew Lettie since 1983, she the first person at NASA that can say and spell my long last name correctly. Lettie had good sense of humor, always made me laugh. She never forgot my b-day or wedding day.
I am greatly saddened by her death but she will be in my heart, my memory and my prayers.

Miss Lettie ... what a wonderful and kind person. I have often thought about her and missed her. She was not only a joy to work with, but a friend. I have missed her, and she will be missed by all who were fortunate enought to know her. My thoughts and prayers are with you ...Those whom we love and lose are no longer where they were before...they are now wherever we are ... God Bless

What an incredible lady Lettie was – and she was a LADY in every sense of the word. My favorite Lettie memory involves Bud. She and I were returning from KSC and Bud was picking us up. I remember the moment Miss “No PDA” Lettie and Bud spotted each other, and they positively glowed. If she was here, I know she’d say “it was a good year for mail order.” I miss her but what an impact she has had on my life.
With deepest sympathy,

Before the days of cubicles, Lettie and I shared an office. She always had a twinkle in her eye, and her wit made for many a cheerful day. She is missed.

My condolences to the family.

My prayers and sympathy are extended to Mr. Thompson on behalf of my family. I worked with Ms. Lettie many years ago and my fondest memories are of her kindness to everyone in the office. Her sweet disposition and thoughtfulness to me will always be remembered. May God comfort you with the joy of her memory.

My thoughts and prayers are with Lettie's family. It's not an easy thing losing a loved one...but it will be very easy remembering someone as sweet as Lettie.

Greetings,

Surely we all are saddened.

Know that "Every life given, one is borrowed".

May the Peace of Heaven rest upon Mr. Thompson and the Family.

I often think about Lettie when I'm walking on my lunch break by the condos where she lived on 7th Street, not far from NASA Hqs. I've wondered where she was and how she was doing. I can see her smiling face as I write about her. Although I did not have the pleasure of working directly with Lettie, I remember her fondly as someone I respected, and trusted her judgement and guidance. I now know she is in a peaceful eternal sleep but I will hold on dearly to my memories of her. Thank you...
