Not sure what to say?

Kinchen was a very nice young man. I will never forget in processing him in Fort Polk at 2nd ACR. He was a smaller soldier and shy as can be but such a nice nice guy. I was there when they announced over the radio that they found him. My heart goes out to the family of Levi. I have been meaning to go visit his gravesite and pay my respects. God bless that young man.....RIP Levi

Thank you for your service Levi. It was a pleasure to teach you at Albany High School. Your light and kind soul always shined through. God bless you and your family.

The Wind on The Downs

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you...
