I was in town of st louis the week of Aug 2 2024 for a wedding . Decided to look up Levi He and I were station in the air force 1965 wordsmith afb oscoda michigan. I lived in south bend indiana and Levi among would visit my family in south bend. He even came back year later to visit my mom. I am so sorry to hear about his passing Continue to rest in peace my brother Love chip dempsey

From the 1st time we met 1969 through your Aunt Pauline King (RiP) (Gompers Homes) we became friends/family Throughout my Marriages, Death-in the family or just need to talk you was always there for me. Words can´t express how thankful I am having you in my life. You will always be my Hero and I´m gonna miss you. Rest In Peace Sending my Prayers and Love to the 1st Lady children and family

I took this photo of Levi and his wife Peggy in 1967.

While stationed at Wurtsmith AFB, Levi and I were like brothers. We were in the Chapel choir and a band called The Chessmen. He was a great friend and I know he will be missed.

I’m late but he taught me some things when I serviced my mother at his funeral home in 2009. They also did my Dad’s homegoing Nov. 2020 which was the last time I saw and spoke with him.

I've only had a chance to speak with him once, very nice humble person he was

My name is Bobby Sharp. I served in the Air Force at Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Michigan with Levi. We also preformed with him in a band called The Chessmen. I will miss him dearly and I know he is RIP in Heaven !!
