Hiltons, VA- Levi Jacob Vermillion,28,went to be with the Lord Sunday,August 11,2013.
He was born January 20,1985 in Kingsport, TN. He was a wonderful husband and father to his family whom he loved dearly. Levi was a church member at Victory Baptist Church where he was saved and baptized.
Levi was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Carl Lane, and uncle Harold Lane, paternal great-grandparents Helen and John Baker.
He is survived by his wife Brittany Franklin Vermillion of Hiltons, daughters Riley Grace and Addison Laine Vermillion of the home, mother Donna Lane Bewley and step-father Richard of Mt. Carmel, father Larry Vermillion and step-mother Teresa of Hiltons, sister Hayley Vermillion of Memphis, step- sisters Nicole Powers, Jamie Hall and Courtney Page all of Hiltons, step-brother Joshua Bewley and Hannah Bewley of Kingsport, mother-in-law Angela Lyons and husband Eugene, sister-in-law Alicia Franklin of Hiltons, wife's grandparents Teddy and Carolyn Pendleton of Gate City, maternal grandmother Faye Lane of Gate City, paternal grandparents Nadine and Bill Vermillion of Hiltons, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of Colonial Funeral Home Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Fields and Eulogy by Hayley Vermillion.
Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, VA. Those wishing to attend graveside services are asked to meet at the funeral home no later than 10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a fund set up for his daughters Riley and Addison at Eastman Credit Union.
