We are so sorry for your loss. Our Prayers are with all of your family. We Love you All, Julie and Kenny Holton and Family

Margot,

I was so sorry to hear that you've lost Levis. When I remember him, I always think of his chuckle. As one of my mentors, he was especially thought-provoking and never let us do less than our best. You and his family are in my prayers.

Levis was a true friend to many of us. I will certainly miss his sense of humor. And, Margot, you were the best thing that ever happened to him. He will not be forgotten.

MY HEART BREAKS FOR ALL OF US! A DEAR DEAR FRIEND GONE. LIZ PARKER HOURIGAN

Margot, I shall always remember Levis as a true friend in school and for the spirit he continued to give to the Class of 54 over the years. We shall surely miss him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jerry & Bev Ross

Margot,
Words cannot express how much you and Levis have touched my life over the past year. Helping to care for Levis over the past year taught me so much and has made me a better person to continue my caregiving at Markey Cancer Center. Below is a beautiful letter that I hope you get some comfort from. Levis is in a much better place now and he can now look after you!!!! You are truely an amazing woman who cared deeply for the man she loved and who never gave up! I will miss him! ...

Dad-you were the most amazing and smartest man I ever knew. I’ve always loved you, but as your illness progressed, I found I loved and appreciated you even more. My grieving for you began over 3 years ago as little by little you slipped away. Even in my grief, I’m happy for you now, as I just know that your mind is whole again and your body isn’t hurting any more. God bless, I’ll miss you and will always treasure the memories..

Levis was a very special, caring individual. He always had time for his students. I was one of his accounting students at the University of KY (1972-1977) and he continued to keep in touch with me for over 30 years. Margot, you are a lucky individual to have shared his life. My prayers go out to you.
