ALFORD, Levon R., of Richmond, departed this life April 18, 2009. He is survived by one daughter, Lanique Alford; his mother, Sheree Alford; his father, Roger Wilson; his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Wilson; one sister; Latoya Alford; one adopted sister, LaVonda Johnson; one brother, Brandon Lunsford; two adopted brothers, LeeVontae Johnson and Charles Christian; four aunts, Wendy Hines and Chiffon, Zena and Horlles Alford; two uncles, Levern Alford and Jeffery Wilson; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends, among them a devoted, Franiqua Brown. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Rev. Lawrence A. Wilson Sr. officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 10:45 a.m. Saturday. Online condolences can be made at www.jenkinsjr.com.

When I heard of Lee’s passing, I felt like I lost my son. He was a handsome and comical young man. Please know we are always here for you and your family.

Although there are no words to ease the sorrow that is yours, thoughts and loving memories last as long as time endures. So may your treasured memories grow more precious year by year which; will help to bring you comfort in the loss of your son.
