SCHREFFLER, LeVon Jackson - Of Swartz Creek was born on February 12, 1916 in Detroit, Michigan; son of Walter and Twila Schreffler. Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dave Hintz and Reverend June Burton officiated. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. On December 25, 1943 he married Genevieve Freshney and she preceded him in death on March 5, 2008. Surviving are two children, Lawrence "Larry" and wife Gale Schreffler of Swartz Creek, Kathleen and husband Bill Miller of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one grandson, Martin Thayer of Texas; cousins, Carl Jackson of Chicora, Pennsylvania, Donald Jackson of Canton, Ohio and June Burton of Grand Blanc. To the family of Mr. Schreffller,
I was very sorry to read about Mr. Schreffllers' passing. He was a very kind man and I hope he is at peace now. I saw him a couple times at McLaren Homewood a while back, he seemed happy there.
