Not sure what to say?

I met Lew in 1956, I was 6 yrs old, in the first grade in Earle, Arkansas. Lew use to come to our classroom to visit and sometimes go out on the playground with us. I may have only been 6 but I thought he was the best looking man I'd ever seen. Always enjoyed his visits! He was a wonderful man and I know his family misses him. Thanks for the great memory Lew. Some folks on Facebook were arguing about who had more championships. The answer was and is Green Bay. Got to thinking anout Lew when he was coaching at Southwest Texas State when I was an intern in 95. Lew was a great guy with a lot of wonderful stories to pass along regarding the "old days" He was very selfless and always willing to help you, if he liked you...lol
Sad to see he passed away. The world was a little better place with Lew here. Rest in peace my friend.

Today would be your 80th birthday Dad.... you are always in my heart and in my thoughts and many times in my smile.... Can't wait to see you again!!! I love you!

I really didn't know what to expect at first and I did not know who he was. When he came back, he noticed I was...

Dad.....

I'm thinking you and Uncle Preston are together now arguing who was the best coach ever.... Vince Lombardi or Paul Brown. Hope you two are in Hog Heaven together...
Love you and miss you so much,
Cathy

This is a picture of Lew and his friend with me at SB43

I met Lew at Super Bowl 43 in Tampa. I was having lunch and Lew was sitting next to me. I ordered a turkey reuben and a water...Lew was eating a burger and a beer. I noticed he was wearing his rings from the Packers Championship teamss and so I began to small talk with him. He shared the story of how he was Vince Lombardi's first recruit, that's when the day became legendary. Lew wanted to get the full NFL access to all of the events yet was unsure how he could get the credentials. I...
