I met Lewis at a NASCAR All-Star event some 30 years ago. After talking for a minute we realized we were also race fans of Cherokee And I-85 Speedways and so it began as race buddies that basically turned into being like brothers. We took many racing trips together but I think the one we enjoyed the most was Venturing out to the Mad House to see the modifieds on asphalt. Lewis was our neighbor for many years .Our children played together and we all shared a love of Nascar. He was a decent man and na great father . Prayers for the family.
